A petrifying video has surfaced on social media wherein an angry elephant can be seen attacking the SUV car. The incident was reported from South Africa’s iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
In the video, the elephant flipped over an SUV while a family of four was sitting inside the vehicle.

The nail-biting moment was recorded by people sitting in another car that stood just behind them. However, the driver tried to scare the elephant by honking. The video was uploaded on a YouTube channel named Zululand Observer on January 16. The viral clip has garnered 54,899 views on the channel.

In the now-viral video, the tusker can be seen in the middle of the road pushing a car with its trunk and then flipping the vehicle. Reportedly, four people were already inside the car—a mother and father along with their two children aged 8 and 10. The elephant didn’t leave the spot until it flip the car.
According to Daily Mail reports, some rangers came to rescue the family. They were summoned by calls from the following car who had recorded the incident.
As per one of the rangers, the family was terrified and were scared that the elephant would return and attack them again.
However, it is fortunate that none of them were injured badly in this terrifying incident.
“The family was very shaken and a little bruised but I think it will be a while before they take a drive through an elephant reserve on their travels again,” the ranger added.
