Man swallows jewellery worth Rs 1.45 lakh with biryani

A bizarre story has gone viral on social media wherein a 32-year-old man swallowed jewellery worth Rs 1.45 lakh with biryani.

The incident took place at an Eid party on Tuesday in Saligramam, Tamil Nadu. The man allegedly stole a diamond necklace, a pendant, and a gold chain.

The party was organized by a jewellery store worker who had invited her manager, a divorcee, and her partner, who is also a divorcee, to the Eid party for a Ramzan feast.

When the couple left after the party, the party host found her diamond necklace, a pendant, and a gold chain missing from the house.

She also asked her manager and her fiancé about her missing jewellery. The couple told her that they knew nothing.

The host then filed a police complaint. She told the cops that her manager’s fiancé had locked himself inside the room for about 10 minutes where the jewellery was being kept.

When police summoned the manager’s fiancé, he admitted that he had swallowed the jewellery under the influence of alcohol.

He swallowed the jewellery before eating the biryani.

The police also took him to a nearby hospital where scans revealed the presence of some suspicious items in his stomach.

The 32-year-old man was given bananas and made to excrete the jewellery.

The jewellery was handed over to the owner. Later, the party host also withdrew her reports as her manager’s fiancé swallowed it under the influence of alcohol.
