Rare footage of man encountering killer whales while swimming has surfaced on the Internet. Sea is a world full of magnificent creatures that stunned us.
One such unusual underwater moment was captured by Steve Morris when he took a dip in the Bay of Plenty in New Zealand.
He shared incredible and dangerous footage on social media which has gone viral. In the video, Morris came face-to-face with two killer whales. He called it the ‘best day my life.
Morris decided to go underwater after he spotted eight orcas as he wanted to capture in his camera. But, suddenly, he saw a whale coming near him.
Later, it was joined by one of its mates and both whales were looking at Morris. In the video, the brave Morris can also be seen waving at the deadliest creatures before they returned to their pod.

“The orca were extremely close, barely a metre away. I have never seen this face-to-face interaction before but I have dreamt about it.”
Morris further said that he just enjoyed the experience after seeing the two whales.
“It seemed a lot longer but probably only an additional 30 seconds on top of what was in the videos. I had no fear but certainly respected them as they are powerful wild animals after all.
Luckily they are also extremely intelligent and don't harm people other than those that keep them captive,” he added.
Morris revealed that he was swimming with 12 of his friends. He was the first who encountered the whales.
