A delivery drone was attacked by territorial birds in Australia’s capital. The incident of the attack has gone viral on social media.
During the breeding season, species like Australian Magpies are protective of their children and some nesting birds even attacked people who try to come close to their nests.
Ravens are famous for such behavior. The footage of the raven attacking a drone was captured by Ben Roberts, a resident of the suburb of Harrison in the Australian city of Canberra.

The drove was on its way to deliver the coffee when the bird attacked it.
The viral video shows the drone descending to the ground for dropping off its package.
Before it could deliver the beverage, the bird lunged at the drone with its feet before pecking at the flying robot.

The angry bird kept on attacking the drone for several seconds, however, the drone tried to correct its trajectory during the attack. Moments later, the bird flies off and finally, the drone left the package on a rope.

However, it’s not the first time when Roberts’ coffee delivery drone has been affected by a bird attack.
In the wake of COVID-19 lockdown, people ordering things via drone have been increased in Canberra, Australia’s ABC News reported.
