Remdesivir injection is a broad-spectrum antiviral medication that is being used for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. However, the health ministry is clear that it is not to be treated as a magic bullet.
In the past, the health ministry also stated in the SOP that there is no need to use the injection in the initial days of infection, and not to be used for the patients with mild or asymptomatic symptoms.
