On a serious note, an aircraft is possibly the worst place ever to get into an altercation with someone.
Hope these nincompoops were arrested on arrival and dealt with by the authorities.#AvGeek pic.twitter.com/XCglmjtc9l
On Tuesday, two Indian passengers on a flight from Bangkok to Kolkata had a heated altercation mid-flight that developed into a full blown fist fight.
A video, now widely shared on the internet, displays two Indian men on a Thai Smile Airway flight arguing while the cabin crew is trying to quell them down.
One of the men can be heard saying "shanti se baath" (sit down quietly), while the other says, "hath neeche kar" (put your hand down). Within a few seconds, the verbal exchange turns physical, with one man aggressively slapping the other.
The man can be seen removing his spectacles and then hitting the other man, as the latter's friends join the fight. The other man, however, did not hit back and can only be seen defending himself.
Other passengers and cabin crew can be heard asking the man to stop the fight before some flight attendants successfully separate the two.
So far, Thai Smile Airways has not released any official statement on the issue.
