A video of an elephant stuck in mud has gone viral on social media. The clip was shared by an IFS officer Ramesh Pandey on his official Twitter handle.
The rescue operation of an elephant will bring a smile to your face.
The incident took place at Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka which was originally shared by the Twitter handle of the department. In the viral video, a tired elephant can be seen lying in a pool of mud. To rescue her, a JCB machine can be seen giving her a gentle nudge so that it could stand on her feet.

IFS officer Ramesh Pandey shared the video with a caption, “Sometimes the wrong posture coupled with a heavyweight in a slushy ground can make an elephant helpless. Thanks to officials and staffs of @Bandipur_TR for timely nudge to the female elephant. She had exhausted. Kudos to all involved in this rescue.”

Internet filled with joy after seeing the rescue operation of an elephant and also lauded the authorities to provide timely help to the elephant. IFS officer Susanta Nanda also commented on the video.

If she wasn't helped in time.. In such a fallen position, her own body weight would have put too much pressure, on her lungs, making it hard for her to survive..
