Daring mother punches a mountain lion several times for her son

A child is a life of a mother and she can do anything even fight with a wild animal. In a similar incident where a mother encountered a mountain lion after it attacked her 5-year-old son.

The incident was reported in the state of California in the US. According to the reports, the mountain lion suddenly attacked the 5-year-old child who was playing in his yard and dragged him across the front lawn of his house.

The mother was inside the house when the 30-kg panther was about to drag the young boy.

She immediately ran towards the beast and started to punch the lion with her bare hands in an attempt to free his son from its clasp.

Her heroic act saved her child from the big cat. The 5-year-old boy reported suffered major trauma and injuries to his head and upper part of the torso. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and is now in stable condition.

After being alerted about the incident, the police went to the location and look for the big cat.

The officer found the mountain lion hiding in nearby bushes and hissing at them. They believed it was the same animal who sprang up the child, considering the proximity of the location and its behavior.

To ensure the safety of the public, the wildlife officials decided to shoot the mountain lion dead. Later, the dead mountain lion was confirmed as the one that attacked the child after its DNA test is done.
