Bride leaves stage after slapping her groom twice; shocking incident caught on cam

The wedding season in India is at its peak. While Internet has become huge storage for videos related to wedding festivities. Indian weddings involve a lot of fun, masti, music, dance, customs, and rituals. However, all wedding functions are not happy when the groom and bride are not having a good bond.

In one such shocking incident, a bride slapped her groom on the stage during jaimala ceremony.


The matter took place in front of hundreds of wedding guests on Saturday in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur district. The video of the incident has now gone viral on every social media platform.

Journalist Piyush Raj shared the video on Twitter along with a caption, “In UP’s Hamirpur, a video of a bride slapping the groom on stage during “jaimal” ceremony on Sunday has surfaced. Details on what triggered this outburst are still sketchy but a relative from groom’s side claims bride “didn’t like” the groom.”

In the now-viral video, the bride and groom can be seen standing on the wedding stage with garlands in their hands.

As the groom puts the garland around the bride’s neck, she immediately slaps him at least twice, and then she is seen leaving the stage in anger.

According to a report by Times Now, it is being said that the wedding finally took place after local police intervention.

 

Meanwhile, the video has garnered thousands of views on the micro-blogging site and prompted netizens to comment on the video.

Online users slammed the bride for slapping the groom.

“Shame on her. She should be charged with humiliation and assault. An adult must communicate verbally and assertively, period,” a user said.

Another wrote, “Ladki ko pahle sochna chahiye tha”

“If reverse would have happened there would have been RR. No Social media sympathy for boys,” one of the users commented.
