Bizarre! Husband divorces wife because of Maggi

In a bizarre incident, a husband sought divorce from his wife after realizing she could only cook Maggi.

The incident was reported from Mysuru, Karnataka. According to The New Indian Express, the Principal District and Sessions Court in Mysuru, ML Raghunath recalls a divorce case from where he was the district judge in Ballari.

While speaking at a press conference on Friday, Raghunath shared the story of a divorce case that was filed due to Maggi.

He explained how a husband complained that his wife only knew how to cook Maggi noodles. She cooks Maggi for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the man told in his petition.

The man complained that his wife went to the provision story and brought only instant noodles.

Raghunath termed it as a ‘Maggi case’ and told that the marriage was ended in divorce on mutual consent.

He revealed that there so many divorce cases have been filed due to petty issues between couples.

Some couples file divorce cases within a day of getting married over putting salt on the wrong side of the plant while some filed for not getting the color of the wedding suit right.

He further added that the divorce cases are increasing drastically over the years.
