She shared the zoomed-in image of the Himalayan peak from her village and captioned it, “Mount Everest can be seen from her terrace.”

“Nature is balancing itself,” she added. (translated from Hindi to English).

Ritu further said that the lower mountains in the Himalayan range close to Nepal were sometimes visible from the village but it is the first time that Mount Everest is visible from her village.

The picture of Mount Everest has brought several eyes, including comments.

After seeing the image, a user asked Ritu that “how she could ascertain it was Everest and not any other range.”

Ritu said, “Because definitely when we can see the snowy peak of the Himalayas, the highest ones can only be seen and Everest is in the northeast of our village and this pic is of the northeast. And my husband in their childhood used to see Everest in the 80s. So we are sure that its the same.”

However, the image has raised many eyebrows and many have asked whether it’s real or not.
