Imagine you are going somewhere and then you find bags of money on a road. Your mind will definitely blow away. The same situation took place with people in southern California in the US on Friday.
As per reports, bags of money fell out of an armored truck on a freeway in South California.
The incident took place when the truck was heading from San Diego to an office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp.
Reportedly, several bags in the truck were opened suddenly and currency notes fell on the road in Southern California’Carlsbad. Due to this incident, traffic on the road came to halt.
After noticing the huge amount on the road, people rushed to collect the money.
The video of the incident also went viral on social media. In the viral clip, people can be seen picking up the littered cash on the highway while some people have gone crazy and thrown notes in the air.

The clip was shared by Demi Bagby on her Instagram account. She captioned the video as, “This is the most insane thing I've ever seen literally everybody stopped on the freeway to get money off of the freeway.”
After the incident, the authorities have appealed to the public to return the cash. As per reports, some people have returned the cash, according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.
"People are bringing in a lot," California Highway Patrol (CHP) Sergeant Curtis Martin said. "People got a lot of money."
While speaking about the incident, Curtis Martin said, “One of the doors popped open and bags of cash fell out.”
As per reports, the traffic on the highway remained halted for around two hours.
