‘Mom, Dad, I love you’, Ukrainian soldier’s emotional message to parents [Watch]

An extremely harrowing video of a Ukrainian soldier deciding to record a video to say goodbye to his parents, moments before trying to repel the attacks and the advance of the Russian troops on his homeland, has gone viral.

In the clip, the young soldier with his helmet on, moments before going out to resist the Russian troops says, “We are under intense bombardment, it is our turn to leave. Mom, Dad, I love you.”

Albeit the identity of the soldier is not known, a series of prayer was started on the networks to ask for his life and that of his companions in the army.

Just few moments after sharing the clip, the video went viral on social media platforms and prompted all kinds of comments, as users displayed their empathy with the element of the Ukrainian Army which is fighting the Russian troops.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated137 civilians and military personnel have been killed so far in the Russian invasion of his country. He called them “heroes” in a video address released on Friday.
