VIRAL: US teenager can't buy beer or cigarettes, but gets hands on gun easily
A video of a teenager going to different shops, trying to buy beer, cigarettes, racy magazines and lottery tickets but each time he gets turned down because he doesn't come in the legal age to buy the above-mentioned items. However, when he tries to buy a gun, it takes him only 2 minutes without any hassle has gone viral.
After the Parkland, Florida shooting on February 14, 2018, that killed 17 people, a lot of Americans have gone vocal about it. Majority of Americans said that the tragedy could have been prevented.
Even a student from the same school where the massacre happened last week took to social media and slammed Trump's tweet.
After the shooting, Trump tweeted “prayers and condolences to the families of the victims,” adding that “no child, teacher or anyone else should ever feel unsafe in an American school.”
This student wasn’t the lone protestor, there was a 12-minute speech by an 18-year-old survivor, Emma Gonzalez whose video went viral.
In the video, she called out President Donald Trump and the National Rifle Association for their failure to do enough to control gun-related violence. In a chocked voice and tear running down, she appealed for a better gun control system in the US.
Similarly, a video that was shot a few month ago went viral this morning and holds a lot of relevance today.
