Skydiving gone wrong: Two skydivers spiral to ground after parachute malfunction [Watch]
An extremely shocking footage was captured the moment two skydivers spiralled to the ground following a parachute impairment. Video from the occurrence in Titusville, Florida put on view the skydivers rapidly descending towards the ground before they slammed into the front yard of a house.
As stated by the Titusville Fire Department, the men were attended to at the scene before being taken to a trauma centre. Fire Department Battalion chief Greg Sutton told CNN that they were ‘alert and responsive’after the accident. A news release by the City of Titusville says that the men are in perilous state after they met with an accident.
"We just watched them go down over the tree line, it was nothing you could do," Christina Renfore, who witnessed the incident, said to Click Orlando. "He went into a pretty nasty spin. At first we thought he was having fun and showing off, but it was pretty evident shortly after they were in trouble."
Christina Renfore also shared video of the accident on social media and captioned it "They hit the ground and hard. This was a tandem jump gone horribly wrong!"
The skydivers hit a tree in the front yard as they crashed. Images posted on Facebook by the Titusville Fire Department display their parachutes entwined with a tree branch. The photos also show the helicopter that took them to hospital.
The victims - who haven’t been identified - were part of a tandem jump from a plane that originated at Dunn Airport, initial probe has revealed. The investigation in the matter is underway, said the Titusville Police Department.
