Royal family releases new photograph to mark 2nd birthday of Princess Charlotte
The British Royal family released a new photograph to mark the birthday of Princess Charlotte, who turns two on Tuesday. "The Duke and Duchess are delighted to share a new photograph of Princess Charlotte to mark her second birthday tomorrow," the Kensington Palace shared the snap on their official Twitter account.
As wishes poured in for the two year old princess, the royal family followed the tweet, posting, "TRH would like to thank everyone for the lovely messages they have received & hope that everyone enjoys this photograph as much as they do."
The photograph, similar to the one released by the British Royal Family for elder brother Prince George's birthday was taken by their mother Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, who is also an amateur photographer, at their home, Anmer Hall, in Norfolk, reports CNN.
The Duchess has previously released several pictures of her children taken by her.
The Royal parents are keen to restrict the number of photo calls their children take part in to maintain a relaxed childhood. But as the family gears up to shift their base to London in summer, the pair will increasingly partake more official engagements in addition to increasing their charity work.
Prince William, the first royal to undertake civilian employment as a helicopter pilot with the East Anglia Air Ambulance, will end his service soon.
