Powerful explosion rocks Kabul, casualties feared

An explosion occurred on Saturday afternoon in Kabul City.

According to early reports, a car bomb was detonated close to the gate of the old Ministry of Interior building in the city, reported Afghan's TOLO News.

According to reports, almost 40 people died and more than 140 people have been injured due to the explosion.

Casualties have been feared.

Emergency vehicles were "heard" rushing to the spot, as per media reports.
