A bizarre mishap came to light in a United Airlines flight where a woman passenger got stuck inside the washroom. Due to which the flight was diverted to Denver International Airport, Colorado, which was originally flying from Washington DC to San Francisco.
According to the reports of CNN, the flight 1554 washroom was not operating properly which become trouble not only for the trapped passenger but also for the onboard rest passengers.
An apology statement has been released by United Airlines which reads, “The lavatory door became inoperative.”
“The passenger was safely removed from the lavatory after landing, and customers have since continued to their destination on a new aircraft. We are reaching out to all customers onboard and the customer in the lavatory to apologize,” the airline said in the statement.
The passenger was safely removed from the washroom in the flight after landing in Denver.
Meanwhile, the video is doing the rounds on the social media platform.
Taylor Kimber, a Twitter user, shared a video on her official handle that showed technicians trying to help out the passenger who got trapped inside.
One of the technicians can be heard saying, “We're just working on opening up the door at the moment, ma'am. We'll get you out soon, OK?”.

The flight was scheduled to arrive in San Francisco at 8:38 pm on Wednesday but due to the incident, landed in San Francisco after 11 pm.
