Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: From Jethalal to Dayaben, the per-episode salary of the actors is surprising!

One amongst the popular comedy shows running on the small screen of Television, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has made its own space and followers. It has been running on from quite a long time and each character of the show plays a crucial role in entertaining the audience be it Jethalala or Dayaben, Taarak Mehta or Baapuji. The show has made its mark on the popularity charts given out by BARC every week.

It was caught in the trap of controversy when the Disha Vakani who plays the character of Dayaben went in maternity leave, that made fans wonder if the TRPs of the show will flutter or not but that didn't happened. The makers of the show decided to give the actors of the show a hike in terms of their salary which now changed to per month from per day, as per reports in Dainik Bhaskar.

Not only this, it was even said that the makers have given the actors the liberty to choose or sign other shows or projects on one condition that they should provide with an information in advance. Joshi happens to be the highest salary getter amongst all as he earns as many as Rs 1.5 lakhs per episode.

2. Taarak Mehta aka Shailesh Lodha

Lodha gets Rs 1 lakh per episode.

3. Bhide aka Mandar Chandwadkar

Bhide of the show gets 80 thousand per episode.
