Lockdown Entertainment Search: Kanika Kapoor topples Priyanka Chopra; Ramayan tops chart

As Indian are lockdown at their house to prevent the outspread of Coronavirus, there has been huge change by now. From their lifestyle to their newfound hobbies, people are finding ways to pass their time keeping in mind the cleanliness. As everything has come to a standstill there has been a lot of change in the entertainment world as well.

Recently, Yahoo India released a statement which read that Priyanka Chopra and Rajinikanth who use to top the list of most-searched Indian celebs before lockdown has been toppled by Kanika Kapoor. Yes, the Baby Doll singer who was recently diagnosed with COVID-19 hit the headlines because as per officials she hid her travel history and was busy partying in her hometown i.e. Lucknow.

As Kanika made to the most searched celebs, Ramanand Sagar’s most popular show Ramayan has topped the list. Yes, the show has turned out to be the most searched in the ‘most-searched entertainment list’. Before lockdown netizens were busy searching for Bigg Boss Drive, Housefull 4, Tanhaji and Good Newwz, however, after the lockdown, Ramayan broke the net overnight.

It was then Prakash Javdekar, Information and Broadcast minister announced the rerun of the show on DD National making everyone nostalgic.

Meanwhile, following Ramayan other shows such as Mahabharat, Dekh Bai Dekh, Shaktiman, Buniyaad among others too made their way to TV again. Well, not just the 90s now even their younger generation are enjoying the shows and are watching the shows keenly.
