Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu turns 18; Smriti Irani gets emotional while Ekta Kapoor makes fun of Mihir Virani
18 Years back, a show on the TV screens began that went on for a huge period of 8 years and yes we are talking about none other than Ekta Kapoor's popular daily soap Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu that had Union Minister Smriti Irani in the lead role constantly while the male lead of the show kept on changing.
The show changed the lives of many as it gave many faces to the industry. Well now since the show has just turned 18 years old, the cast and the makers are in rejoice about the same and so they took to their social media accounts to share the good news with some memories from the past.
Sharing a picture of Mihir (played by actor Amar Upadhyayinitially) and Tulsi on her Instagram account, Smriti wrote an emotional post on her Instagram account and captioned it as, "18 years ago began a journey that changed my life forever @ektaravikapoor @shobha9168 you believed in me when no one wanted to take a chance #ksbkbt fans & friends thank you for the support & blessings (sic)."

Ekta took a dig at the picture and reminded everyone that Mihir in the show kept on changing. Ekta wrote, "Hahahah har hafte Mihir badalte the (sic)." After which Smriti too participated in the joke and said, "Tell me about it!! Daily set par aakar poochna padta tha ki kal vala Mihir hai ki gaya (sic)."

Ekta also took to her Instagram account and shared a throwback picture of herself with Smriti and wrote, “18 years ago this day @starplus and @sameern changed my life ! N a star unimaginable from a relatively new medium was born @smritiiraniofficial !
