KumKum Bhagya: Shocking! Despite Splitsvilla fame Naina Singh’s entry and leap, fans not happy with Sriti Jha’s show; here why

KumKum Bhagya has been one of the successful running shows of the recent time. Sometime back the show lost its place from the top of the TRP list but this week, it garnered 2.7 points and topped the BARC list. It all happened again, thanks to the generation gap of huge 20 years post which the makers decided to drift the story angle into Abhi and Pragya’s (Abhishek Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha) daughters life for which two new faces were brought up including those of Splitsvilla 10 winner Naina Singh and Mugdha Chapekar but it seems as if the fans of the show aren’t happy with the same.

Just before the leap, we saw how Abhi and Pragya got married but unfortunately their daughter Kiara gets kidnapped and died just after which Pragya got pregnant. The gap came and we saw Pragy living with Prachi (played by Mugdha) and Rhea living with Abhi. The show saw how they both hate each other unaware of the fact that the two are sisters. In one of the event, Rhea also sent Prachi to jail who was later saved by Abhi.

Despite of all the efforts put in by the makers, the fans do not seem happy with this course because everything seemed to be very expected just like the tried and tested formula. Even though the story is new but the track is the same that shows Pragya struggling, Abhi’s ego and only a few new twists and turns. Even few fans on the social media said that the show has lost its charm and the content is no more the king here.
