Kaun Banega Crorepati: It is because of this episode that Amitabh Bachchan's show topped the TRP charts

Sony TV's popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati is topping the TRP charts these days. The show hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan secured top position in last week's TRP report. But it was because of one episode that the show managed to secure the first position.

An episode of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" season nine featured Anand Kumar, who is a mathematician and also the founder of an educational programme Super 30, aired on Sony Entertainment Television on September 2 is said to be the reason behind the show's popularity last week.

According to the reports, that particular episode of the show is said to have gained 6,798,000 impressions which is a huge number. The mathematician Anand Kumar was invited as a special guest on the show that tests a person's knowledge. He was able to win Rs 25 lakh in the game with the helpof his former student Anup Kumar.

It is believed that a biopic is also being made on the mathematician which will be directed by Vikas Bahl and will reportedly star Akshay Kumar in it. Kaun Banega Crorepati airs on Sony TV from Monday to Friday at 9 pm.
