Whatsapp payment tips: Easy steps to start sending money to friends and family; see details
Whatsapp offers a payment feature to its users, build with the collaboration of NPCI ( National payment corporation of India) and associated with BHIM ( Bharat interface for money). Whatsapp payments the help of UPI ( Unified Payment interface ). UPI based Whatsapp payment help users in transferring money to other users who have linked their mobile number with a bank account and UPI.

How to link a bank account with Whatsapp payment
The process to link the bank account with Whatsapp is easy, first, you need to open your Whatsapp then open the settings. If your WhatsApp is updated, you will see an option ‘ Payments’, tap it. Move forward by clicking ‘accept and continue’, it will verify your number by sending a message. One your number is verified, you will be able to see the list of associated banks.
How to add the second bank account in payment
Once your number is verified, you will see a list of UPI approved banks. Select your bank and after that, you have to submit your bank account number and other details.
If you have multiple bank accounts and want to add in the payment option instead of the default option. There you will see a “ add new account” option and list of the bank.
Then, you can invite your friends. It is necessary that you both updated version of the app. And second necessary thing your bank account should be linked with UPI account. To send money, you have to open the chat option in the app, you will see the payment option in the “clip” icon. After that, you can enter the amount and four-digits UPI pin. Once the process is completed your amount will be transferred. The same process can be followed for the group.
