TRAI introduces one single website for information on all tariff plans; here's how you can check

TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) has launched a beta version of its portal, where now all the tariffs plan given by the telecom companies will be listed on one platform. The regulatory body initiated this service to bring the more transparency and provide a single platform to consumers. Now, customers will be able to get the all necessary information of tariff plans offered by the telecom companies. They do not have to wander on different platforms to inquire about the plans.

The officials of TRAI said in a statement “To enable consumers to see tariffs of different TSPs (telecom service providers) and different Licensed Service Areas (LSAs) at a single place, a beta version of the portal, namely www.tariff.trai.gov.in has been released today,”.

Further, they said, all the tariff plans offered by the companies can also be downloaded from the website for a better access. According to TRAI, we started this initiative to bring more transparency in the telecom sector. It will help customers to compare the platform on one single platform, for their benefits. Currently, it’s a tough task with so much cluttered information on different platforms.

TRAI said “To get initial feedback on the look and feel of this portal from consumers, the beta version of tariff data for Delhi LSA is also made available on the Trai website www.trai.gov.in. The details on the website are as reported by the TSPs of Delhi LSA,”

Presently, the website is serving to the customers of Delhi circle and have also asked for the review of the website.
