Patanjali's messaging app 'Kimbho' has been in the news for some time since Baba Ramdev has revealed his plans to take on the popular messaging app WhatsApp that has presently become the necessity of an Indian mobile phone user.
Ramdev recently announced his very own 'Swadeshi Samriddhi' sim card that he plans to bring in by collaborating with BSNL. Ramdev has been selling all sorts of products from beauty creams to Honey but everything nicely wrapped under the motto to manufacture and endorse indigenous products.
However, Patanjali's Kimbho has been taken down from the Google play store and many imposters have taken its place that have features and logos like the Kimbho App. The Kimbho App faced criticism for not being safe to use and the chats' privacy not maintained. Several security researchers also alleged that the App is not secure and the security system was too weak.
Patanjali was quick in realising the lacks in their App and were even more quicker in taking the App down from the Play Store.
Kimbho has actually stated the reason to delete the App being the high demand which seems more of a blatant lie in order to curtain their shortcomings.
Presently, the 'Kimbho' doesn't exist on the Google Play Store in the form it has been endorsed and advertised as the real Kimbho App does is nowhere to be found but a lot of other lookalike fake apps come up once you search for the 'Kimbho' App.
The actual App has been taken away and the ones available are same by name but are provided by different sorts of App Developers.
