Google Doodle's way to celebrate International Labour Day is unique

Every year the world celebrates ‘International Labour Day’ on 1 May, also know as ‘Mayday’. To celebrate this moment Google has also made Google doodle of ‘International labour day’. Eighty countries around the world along with India celebrates this occasion. On this day almost every company around the world declares a holiday.

Labour is just not a person who work in the factories or at construction sites but also every individual who works in MNC and seats in front of the computer. Every human being who work for any company or organisation and takes a salary is a labourer. The salary alone cannot compensate the contribution of a labour, without his dedication and hard work the growth of any country is unimaginable. Labour day is the day to celebrate and be thankful for these building blocks of our world.

Labour day first celebrated on 1 May 1886, at this day labour in America decided that they will not work more than 8 hours in a day. During that time labourers were deprived of basic facilities like a medical assistant on being injured. Affected by these issues labour association started strike which was attacked by a bomb blast, many labourers lost their lives and more than 100 were injured.

In India, Labour Kisan Party first celebrated labour day on 1 May 1923 in Madaras. However, this day was also celebrated as Madaras day. At present, Many countries around the world including India has the law to work for 8 hours.
