Easy Availability of Seats in Vande Bharat Express, Confirmation Even a Day Before

Sagar: While there is a scramble for seats in express and superfast trains, premium trains like Vande Bharat and Shatabdi Express are offering easy availability of seats, even with confirmation a day before. The Railway Department has introduced the Khajuraho-Nizamuddin Vande Bharat Express to promote tourism, but surprisingly, hundreds of seats remain vacant from Khajuraho to Jhansi.

The Railway Department has cancelled the operation of dozens of Delhi-bound trains, resulting in a scramble for seats in the remaining superfast and express trains. However, in premium trains like Vande Bharat, Shatabdi, and Rajdhani Express, seats are easily available, even with 24-hour prior booking. The high fare of these trains is the primary reason for this phenomenon.

Status of Premium Trains on September 15

On September 15, the Vande Bharat Express had 255 vacant seats in the Chair Car from Khajuraho to Jhansi and 22 vacant seats in the Executive Class. From Jhansi to Khajuraho, there were 190 vacant seats in the Chair Car and 19 vacant seats in the Executive Class. From Hazrat Nizamuddin to Jhansi, there were 331 vacant seats in the Chair Car and 35 vacant seats in the Third AC of the Mumbai Rajdhani Express. The Sikanadarabad Rajdhani Express had 130 vacant seats in the Third AC from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Jhansi. The Shatabdi Express had 42 vacant seats in the Chair Car from New Delhi to Jhansi.
