Bundi: Markets to Remain Shut in Support of Bharat Bandh
Hindoli, Bundi (Rajasthan): As part of the Bharat Bandh call given by the Scheduled Caste-Janjati Development Committee over the reservation issue, markets in Hindoli town and other villages will remain shut on Wednesday. The committee members, along with various organization leaders, submitted a memorandum to the administration on Tuesday, seeking their support for the bandh.
In the morning, committee officials and members, accompanied by local traders, gathered in the market area to appeal for cooperation in observing the bandh. The traders' association president, Sandeep Jhanwar, assured full support to the committee's demand. Memorandums were also submitted to the BJP and Congress Mandal presidents, Abhibhavak Sangh presidents, and other local leaders, who pledged their support to the cause.
The committee president informed that the markets will remain shut from morning, and party workers will appeal to the people to maintain peace. Later, a memorandum will be submitted to the President of India through the Sub-Divisional Officer.
A large number of people were present during the submission of the memorandum. Markets in Pech Ki Bawdi, Badanayagaon, Devji Ka Thana, and other areas will also remain shut in support of the bandh.
The committee's initiative has received widespread support from various organizations and local leaders, who have pledged to cooperate in making the bandh a success.
