100 international caps for Odisha's midfielder Hockey player Lilima Minz
A 23-year-old Lilima Minz who hails from a small village in Sundergarh district, Odisha is having a dream run as she completed the coveted landmark of 100 international in the India and South Korea match on Monday.
With only two days left for International Women's Day, Catch News came in touch with this prolific mid-fielder of Indian women’s hockey team to know how it feels on this landmark achievement.

She won the women's hockey test series 6-0 against Malaysia and represented India at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and also a part of the side that won bronze at the 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, Korea. Besides, she has also represented India at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
She made her international debut in a four-nation tournament in Argentina in 2011. When asked her, how it feels to have played 100 matches for India, she said, " With all my limitations I started my career after joining the Panposh Sports Hostel in Rourkela. It is all because of my coaches help and support that I managed to pull this off. I have been fortunate to be a part of this team where colleagues are so supportive just like family members".
She also talked about her prep for upcoming games, she said, " This is an important year for me. There is a lineup of Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, and the World Cup. I have already started with rigorous practice and I am totally focused to bring accolades for my country."
