Viral Video: Woman vandalises diya stalls with floor wiper in Lucknow

On the auspicious day of Diwali, when people were gearing up to celebrate the grand festival, a furious woman came out of her house and vandalised the potteries of roadside vendors in Lucknow. The video of the woman has been doing rounds on social media.

The incident took place yesterday in Gomti Nagar area of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The Lucknow Police have registered a non-cognizable offence against the woman after her video went viral on social media platforms.

In the video, the woman can be seen destroying diyas and other pottery items of roadside vendors with a floor wiper.

As per media reports, the woman is a doctor by profession and a daughter of a retired IAS officer. She lost her cool as the diya vendors put up stalls in front of her house.
