MIRACLE! How this lucky couple survived plane crash without injuries
After surviving a plane crash, most passengers are either extremely disoriented and disconcerted to think or injured to do anything. In most cases, people use their phones to talk to their loved ones or make other emergency call.
However, this couple used their mobile phone to take a selfie after surviving a disastrous plane crash. And by doing so, they have left the internet confused.
A firetruck came into collision with the plane as it was taking off from the Jorge Chávez International airport in Lima, Peru on Friday at around 3:30 pm, said reports.
According to reports, the unfortunate incident claimed the lives two firefighters, Angel Torres and Nicolas Santa Gadea, who were there on the runway. But no passengers or crew aboard the plane were killed.
One lucky couple, that managed to escape the plane without suffering any injuries, saw it fit to take a picture with the damaged plane in the background.
Enrique Varsi-Rospigliosi, who is believed to be the man in the photo, posted the picture with the caption: "When life gives you a second chance #latam."
The photo quickly went viral on the internet and was even shared on the Facebook page A320 Systems.
While few internet users saw the funny side, many said the couple should have realised that lives were at stake when they were clicking pictures.
One person wrote: "It's very sad for the relatives of the firetruck. Perhaps the people in the picture weren't aware of the fatalities or perhaps were just so relieved to have survived themselves. In the moment they maybe didn't think it through and were saying to their own family they were ok. We who comment weren't in the accident so can't know their thinking."
"This could have been a major disaster. Everyone on the plane is extremely fortunate," added another.
