India Vs Australia: Watch Virat look angry in dressing room after controversial dismissal in 2nd Test
Virat Kohli entered the ground with the intention of scoring a century, but was controversially dismissed by debutant Matthew Kuhnemann on Day 2 of the second Test between India and Australia in New Delhi.
The former skipper, who was batting on 44 runs, appeared to be in good form and the spectators were eagerly anticipating a century from him. However, his innings came to a controversial end when a delivery from the spinner crashed into his pads and the umpire immediately raised his finger to signal an out.
Despite being comfortable with his batting, Kohli decided to review the umpire's decision. The third umpire carefully examined the delivery with multiple replays to determine whether the ball had connected with the bat or the pad first.
After a thorough review, the third umpire upheld the field umpire's decision and signaled that Kohli was out, forcing him to leave the crease and head back to the pavilion.
But its not all, furious Virat was seen watching the replays on the screen along with the coaches. He was seen anguished over the third umpire’s decision. However, there was no outburst of emotion from the right-hander.
