Food delivery boy thrashes girl for abusing boyfriend; video goes viral [Watch]

A couple’s squabble turned into a full blown fight after a food delivery boy intervened and brutally thrashed the girl in full public view in Odisha’s Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. The video of the incident has gone viral.

As per reports, the girl got into a heated argument with her boyfriend after coming out of a Park. The video shows her verbally and physically abusing her boyfriend, and even throwing stones at him. As bystanders clustered together at the spot and started recording the fight on their mobile phones, the girl got more furious, and even tried to snatch the phone of a bystander.

It was at this point that a food delivery boy tried to intervene and act as peacemaker to the bickering couple. When he objected to the cuss word used by the girl, the latter got angry and began reprimanding him using foul language. It led to a heated argument, with the girl abusing the delivery boy.

The delivery boy at last lost his cool and started beating her up. In the video, the delivery boy can be seen shoving, punching and slapping the girl. Shocked bystanders eventually intervened and tried to sort things out.

Neither the girl nor the delivery boy has registered a police complaint thus far.

Bhubaneswar DCP Umashankar Dash said, “Since it was incident of thrashing by both the parties, I have instructed the concerned PS Official to register a case against both of them’’.
