Vishwaroopam II: Kamal Haasan's spy thriller gets 'U/A' certificate from CBFC, trailer to be unveiled soon
Legendary actor Kamal Haasan's much awaited film Vishwaroopam II has completed it's censorship formalities on Saturday. And much to the delight of the makers, the film has received a 'U/A' certificate from Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC).
Reportedly, Vishwaroopam II was submitted to the CBFC a few weeks ago and finally it has got the clearance from it's members. The makers are now planning to release the film's trailer soon.
Written and directed by Kamal Haasan, Vishwaroopam II is a sequel to his 2013 super hit film Vishwaroopam. Apart from the Tamil superstar Vishwaroopam II stars director-actor Shekhar Kapur, Bollywood actor Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah.
Touted to be a spy thriller, Vishwaroopam II was in news ever since the producer of the film Ascar Ravichandran failed to clear the remuneration of the cast and crew, including that of Kamal Haasan. However, later the Ulaga Nayakan himself bankrolled the film under his home banner Rajkamal Films.
Vishwaroopam II is scheduled to be released simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages soon.
