UAE Box Office: Tiger Zinda Hai equals Baahubali 2 record, but fails to beat Mohanlal's Pulimurugan
The theatrical run of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai has finally come to an end at the UAE Box Office. The action-entertainer, which had released on December 21 2017 had its final screening on Wednesday. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films, Tiger Zinda Hai starred Katrina Kaif in the female lead.
Upon its release, the Salman Khan starrer had shattered many Indian Box Office records and emerged as the all-time second Bollywood blockbuster after Aamir Khan's Dangal.
Similar to its Indian theatrical release, Tiger Zinda Hai continued it's amazing business across the cinemas of UAE as well. The film had minted more than Rs. 40 crore to become one of the biggest Indian grossing films in UAE. Tiger Zinda Hai ran for 56 theatrical days in UAE and also equals all-India blockbuster Baahubali 2's record to become the fifth highest running Indian film in UAE. However, Tiger Zinda Hai failed to cross the 98-theatrical days set by the 2016 Mohanlal blockbuster Pulimurugan in UAE.
Tiger Zinda Hai also starred an ensemble cast including Sajjad Delfrooz, Angad Bedi, Kumud Mishra, Nawab Shah, Girish Karnad, Paresh Rawal, Neha Hinge, Kashmira Irani and Anupriya Goenka.
