2017's last major Tamil release Velaikkaran is continuing its strong dominance at the Box Office, even after nearing two-weeks of its theatrical release. Directed by Mohan Raja, the social thriller starred Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara and Fahadh Faasil in main lead roles.

During its 5-day opening weekend, Velaikkaran grossed a whopping Rs 30 crore at the Tamil Nadu Box Office.

And now, Velaikkaran has successfully sailed into the Rs 50 crore club across the cinemas of Tamil Nadu. It's a good feat considering that the Mohan Raja film hits the half-century mark in 10 theatrical days. Also, Velaikkaran had clashed with five South films and Salman Khan's Tiger Zinda Hai at the Box Office.

It will be interesting to see how Velaikkaran will perform in the remaining days as the film needs to go past the Rs. 70 crore mark to become a clean hit.
