Shah Rukh Khan to remake Vikram Vedha in Hindi! Guess who are playing R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi's roles in it
Tamil film Vikram Vedha is considered as one of the recent finest thriller films to come out in India. Directed by husband-wife duo Pushkar and Gayathri , the film opened to extremely good reviews upon its theatrical release on July 21. Vikram Vedha starred two of the best acting talents of Tamil cinema in lead roles, R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. The film tells the story of an honest police officer Vikram and a wanted gangster named Vedha. While R Madhavan essayed the role of Vikram, Vijay Sethupathi portrayed the role of Vedha. The content of the thriller was so strong that it eventually turned out to be the biggest Tamil blockbuster of 2017.
Earlier, there were reports Vikram Vedha is all set to be remade in Bollywood, Telugu and Kannada.
And now, the action thriller is all set to have its Bollywood version soon with none other than superstar Shah Rakh Khan planning to remake it in Hindi.
Shah Rukh Khan's home banner Red Chillies Entertainment is going to bankroll the Hindi remake of Vikram Vedha. The negotiations with the producer of original version, S Sashikanth of Y NOT Studios for buying the rights is still going on. The director and lead cast of the film haven’t been finalised as yet. Since Vikram Vedha is a two hero project, it remains to be seen whether Shah Rukh Khan will also act in it or not apart from producing it.
