Kiran Kumar, a Malayalam film production executive from Ottappalam, Kerala has been arrested by Kerala police following the complaint filed by the Malayalam actress Mythili. Kiran Kumar has been accused of leaking private pictures of the actress on social media after she refused to accept his demands.

Reportedly, both were in relationship in 2008 and the actress decided to end the same after learning that he was married and had a family.

"The two were in an affair and the accused had promised to marry the actor. However, he had hidden from the actress that he was married. The pictures were clicked during the affair. The actress later broke up with the accused after coming to know that he was married", the police said to a leading daily.

However, when the actress decided to end the affair, Kiran Kumar allegedly demanded Rs. 75 lakh from her and threatened to leak her private images if she fails to meet his demands. There are also reports that he had visited the film locations to threaten her which prompted the actress to file a police complaint against him.
