Friday saw the release of the SS Rajamouli film, Baahubali : The Conclusion. The war drama, a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster stars Prabhas, and Anushka Shetty in lead roles. The film also stars Rana Daggubati as the main antagonist.

As expected, Baahubali 2 has opened to a terrific note at the Kerala Box Office. The film had released in 310 screens across the Kerala, which is also the biggest release ever for a film in Kerala. Baahubali 2 has minted Rs. 6.27 crore on its opening day to become the all-time highest opener at the Kerala Box Office. It's a remarkable feat considering for a dubbed release. The film has registered 99% occupancy across the multiplexes of Kerala from the morning shows itself. The film has broken all the existing opening day records at the Kerala Box Office including Mammootty's The Great Father, Rajinikanth's Kabali and Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan.

Baahubali 2 also stars Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar and Tamannaah Bhatia.
