The trailer of South Indian actress Raai Laxmi's Bollywood erotic thriller Julie 2 has been released. The film, directed by Deepak Shivdasani, is a sequel to his 2004 Bollywood erotic thriller hit Julie, which starred Neha Dhupia in the main female lead. Julie 2 also marks the Bollywood debut of Raai Laxmi as main female lead. The 2 Harihar Nagar actress was earlier appeared in a cameo role in AR Murugadoss - Sonakshi Sinha's 2016 Bollywood action entertainer Akira.

Interestingly, the 'Sanskari' Pahlaj Nihalani, who was recently removed from the Central Board Of Film Certification (CBFC) as chief, is distributing Julie 2. Nihalani is getting trolled on social media ever since the Twitteratis came to know the former CBFC Chief is backing the erotic thriller. During the trailer launch on Monday, Nihalani stated that Julie 2 as a clean adult family film.

Apart from releasing the trailer, the makers also revealed a new poster featuring Raai Laxmi in a semi-nude avatar. The poster, which released with a tagline 'Pahlaj Nihalan presents' has already increased the trolling to a maximum level on Twitter.

Julie 2 also stars Ravi Kishan, Aditya Srivastava, Pankaj Tripathy and Rati Agnihotri and is scheduled to release on October 6.
