Here's a disappointing news for the fans of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar. The actor's much awaited Tamil film debut 2.0 has been postponed. Directed by Shankar and produced by Lyca Productions, the Rajinikanth film was scheduled to hit the screens on April 27.

And now, it has been confirmed that 2.0 will not hit the hit screens on 27 April.

However, Rajinikanth fans have a reason to rejoice as Thalaivar's first collaboration with actor and son-in-law Dhanush, Kaala will be hitting the screens on the release date of 2.0, on 27 April.

Dhanush took to his Twitter account to announce the release date of Kaala. The national award winning actor also shared a new poster revealing the release date of Kaala. 

Rajinikanth will be seen essaying a man from Tamil Nadu’s Tirunelveli who escapes to Mumbai as a child and goes on to become a powerful don living in Dharavi slums of Mumbai. 

Directed by Kabali maker PA Ranjith , Kaala also stars Bollywood actors Nana Patekar and Huma Qureshi.
