Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak dies by suicide in Mumbai

Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak has died allegedly by suicide in Dahisar East, her Mumbai residence on 2nd August. Before taking this step actress went live on Facebook on 1st August and expressed her pain. She spoke about being feeling cheated and not being able to trust anyone. 

In the 10 minutes long video, she said, "If you tell someone that you are going through some problems and feel suicidal, that person, no matter how good a friend he or she is, will immediately ask you to keep them away from your problems so that they don't get into trouble after you die. Also, people will make fun of you and disrespect you in front of others. So never share your problems with anyone and never consider anyone your friend."

She concluded her video by saying that be a person whom everybody can trust, but never trust anyone. She learnt this in her life that people are very selfish and don't care for others.

Meanwhile, during investigating police recovered a suicide note wherein she mentioned that financial issues as the reason for taking her life. She informed that she invested Rs 10,000 in a company named Wisdom Producer Company in Malad, however she didn't get her money back even after maturity date in December 2019.

She also mentioned about a man, Manish Jha, in her suicide note wherein she alleged that the man took her two-wheeler at her hometown during the lockdown in May and refused to return it to her later.

Police have registered FIR under section 306 (abetment of suicide) of IPC against a person and a company, the police said.
