Malayalam director Basil Joseph's second directorial outing Godha released today. Jointly produced by C.V Sarathi, A.V Anoop and Mukesh R Mehta under E4Entertainment, the film stars Tovino Thomas in the main lead. Godha is the Malayalam debut for Punjabi actress Wamiqa Gabbi, who plays a Punjabi wrestler Athithi Singh. The film also stars Renji Panicker, Aju Varghese, Mammukoya, Maala Parvathi, Sreejith Ravi and Hareesh Perumanna.

Godha is one of the most promoted Malayalam films of 2017.

Godha has opened to good reports in Kerala. It got good reviews for Basil's direction and the performances of Tovino Thomas, Renji Panicker and Wamiqa Gabbi. The film is also being appreciated for Vishnu Sharma's cinematography.

Godha has been released in 130 screens across Kerala.
