Audience will see a different Anushka Shetty in Bhaagamathie, glad to have Unni Mukundan, Jayaram and Asha Sharath: Director G Ashok
The makers of Anushka Shetty's upcoming film Bhaagamathie have revealed the official first look posters of the film on Monday. As promised by the makers, the first look was launched as a birthday gift to Anushka Shetty, who is celebrating her birthday on 7 November. Directed by G Ashok of super hit Pilla Zamindar fame, Bhaagamathie has been jointly bankrolled by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati under the banner of UV Creations. Tipped to be a horror thriller, the Telugu-Tamil-Malayalam trilingual stars Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan in the male lead. Bhaagamathie also stars Malayalam actors Jayaram and Asha Sarath along with an ensemble cast including Murali Sharma, Dhanraj, Prabhas Srinu, Vidyullekha Raman, Deva Darshan, Talaivasal Vijay, Ajay Ghosh and Madhu Nandan.
During the first look launch, G Ashok had revealed that he is glad to have Unni Mukundan, Jayaram and Asha Sharath in Bhaagamathie. He also added promised that audience will see a different Anushka Shetty in his film.

Bhaagamathie also marks the second Telugu outing of Unni Mukundan, also known as Baby Unni for the Telugu audience. The Malayalam actor's debut Telugu film, Janatha Garage, along side Mohanlal and Jr.NTR went on to become the highest Telugu grosser of 2016.
