Akshay Kumar wants his role in 2.0 to be as powerful as Avengers: Infinity War's Thanos, film to be postponed again?
Shankar's 2.0 is touted as the most awaited Indian film of this decade. The sci-fi thriller marks the association of two of India's biggest superstars Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar. While Rajinikanth will be seen essaying dual roles in the film as Dr. Vaseegara and Chitti: The Robot, Akshay Kumar plays the main antagonist role of Dr. Richard in the film. 2.0 also marks his Tamil film debut as well. Produced by Lyca Productions for a whopping budget of Rs. 450 crore, 2.0 is tipped as the costliest Indian film made till date.
Though the first look of 2.0 was revealed in November 2016, the makers are yet to take a call on the release date of the film.
Since Wednesday morning, many media reported that Akshay Kumar wants his role in 2.0 to be as powerful and bigger as the recent Hollywood blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War's Thanos. There were also reports that Akshay Kumar has asked the makers to re-shoot few of his action sequences for the same.
However, now it has been confirmed that the news is nothing but rumors as the makers have already completed the shooting of the film. Shankar is currently busy with post-production works, especially the VFX works of the film.
