Kakori Sacrifice Day: Watch UP Govt organises spectacular drone show in Gorakhpur

Hundreds of drones were displayed in a spectacular show in Uttar Pradsh’s Gorakhpur on the occasion of Kakori Sacrifice Day on December 19.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, among other ministers, attended the spectacular event.

The story related to Kakori train robbery case and the struggle of freedom fighters was presented simultaneously in the sky through hundreds of drones, music, and laser lights.

The UP government is commemorating Kakori Sacrifice Day from December 15 to 19 in honor of the heroes of the Kakori Train Action. During the drone show, a tribute was paid to freedom fighter Ram Prasad Bismil, who was martyred in December 1927.

The drone show was organised as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Central Government to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence.
