Andhra Pradesh: JSP Chief Pawan Kalyan announces first list of candidates contesting for LS and Assembly polls
Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday announced the first list of candidates contesting from Jana Sena Party (JSP) for upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
JSP is the first party to announce the list of candidates for Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
The party announced names of four candidates for Lok Sabha and 32 candidates for Assembly seats, thereby ruling out any alliance.

The Election Commission of India on Sunday announced that Andhra Pradesh will go to polls in a single phase on April 11. Both the Lok Sabha and legislative assembly polls will be held in the state simultaneously.
The state assembly has 175 seats while Parliamentary elections will be held across 25 seats. Notably, this would be the first assembly elections in the region post-bifurcation.
