Rajasthan is witnessing the effects of winter as the temperature continues to drop every day. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, the minimum temperature in many areas of the state is being recorded below the average by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Fatehpur Shekhawati on November 23 recorded a minimum temperature of 3.8 degrees, the coldest day of the season.

The weather department has predicted that the temperature in Fatehpur Shekhawat may go to the freezing point this month.

Fatehpur – The Coldest City Of Rajasthan

In Shekhawati area, the winter chills are intensifying every day. Fatehpur remained the coldest city in the state for the third consecutive day. Yesterday, the city recorded the minimum temperature of 3.8 degree Celsius. According to IMD, due to the dry weather, the temperature may fall by three to four degrees in the next three days.

Mercury Dips In Sikar

The mercury level is continuously falling in Sikar district as well. The minimum temperature recorded in the district was 4.8 degree Celsius on November 23.

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Department, at present, the winter is likely to intensify with a drop in temperature in Rajasthan, including Shekhawati, by the end of November. After November 25, temperatures in many parts of the state can reach at freezing point.
