Vadodara: Three members of family found dead; probe begins

A family of three was found dead at their house in the Waghodia road area of Gujarat’s Vadodara on January 9. The man was found hanging from a ceiling fan and his wife and son were found lying in a room, ANI reported.

Police reached the spot and sent the bodies for postmortem. Cops have also found a scribble written on the wall.

As per DCP Yashpal Jaganiya, the preliminary investigation reveals that the family died by suicide due to a financial crisis.

“Prima facie, from the scribble on the wall & note found on the phone, it appears they were facing financial difficulties,” DCP Jaganiya said as quoted by ANI.

Police have sent the bodies for postmortem and further investigation into the matter is underway.
